There are some interoperability issues with Sonos when we switch the channels in the Plume network as part of the optimization process. The Sonos are not able to accept these Channel Switch "Announcements" that well, which results in Sonos disconnections from the network.
To resolve this issue, we recommend that you connect one, and only one, of the Sonos devices via Ethernet to the network and have the rest of your Sonos devices connect wirelessly to the network. This enables the Sonos devices to form their own ad-hoc network, independent of the Wi-Fi network in the house. This generally eliminates the disconnects that occur when we switch channels on your Plume network.
